  • Choice of surfaces
Nunc has a vast choice of surfaces to satisfy your assay requirements.
MINISORP™ A polyethylene surface with a low affinity to most protein molecules. It is ideal for liquid phase immunotechniques and for storage of proteins.
POLYSORP™ A polystyrene surface less polar than MaxiSorp™ and with affinity to molecules of a more hydrophobic nature. The PolySorp™ surface is particularly suited for non-protein and viral antigens.
MEDISORP™ A polystyrene surface treated to give a binding capability intermediate between PolySorp™ and MaxiSorp™. This surface is less hydrophilic than MaxiSorp™.
MAXISORP™ A polystyrene surface with a high affinity to molecules with mixed hydrophilic/ hydrophobic domains such as proteins.
MULTISORP™ This new polystyrene surface is hydrophilic and is suggested as a surface for the molecules or for homogeneous assays of hydrophobic analytes which will not adhere to this type of surface.
COVALINK™ A modified polystyrene surface with secondary amino groups grafted to it. The CovaLink™ surface is ideal for immobilising molecules that fail to be absorbed by passive adsorption. The covalent binding is made to a particular part of the molecule, so that a specific orientation of the molecule can be achieved.
