| Nunc CryoLine™ System. Cryotubes perform well in mechanical freezers, and in liquid nitrogen (gas and liquid phase). One hand operation with starfoot tubes in cryotube rack (NC-376589). Non-toxic. External thread recommended for mechanical freezers and gas phase of liquid nitrogen Internal thread with a silicone gasket provides the best possible seal. Sterile. For extreme storage conditions like liquid nitrogen CryoFlexTM must be used. *Warning: Do not use cryotubes in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen unless correctly sealed in Nunc Cryo FlexTM Tubing NC-343958. Improper use may cause entrapment of liquefied nitrogen inside the vial and lead to pressure build-up, resulting in possible explosion or biohazard release. Use appropriate safety procedures as outlined in the Nalge Nunc International Cryopreservation manual when handling and disposing of the cryotubes. The Nunc cryotubes have passed the test outlined in UN packaging instruction 602/650 of the ICAO/IATA technical instructions on the safe transport of dangerous goods by air. |
