| Nalgene® filter units with PES (polyethersulfone) membrane, blue collar. -Receiver ergonomically designed for better stability. -Features a side arm with a tubing adapter, internal dimension Ø 6.5 -9.5mm -Lot number, membrane type and pore size clearly marked on each unit. -Standard collar 45mm. -250 and 500ml units provided with a 75mm membrane for a 2 x times higher speed. -115ml has a shorter form for a better stability. PES membrane has excellent qualities: -Protein binding rate lower than with other membranes -Hydrophilic membrane eliminating the need for wetting agent. -Excellent transfer flow rate, low level of extractable, better chemical resistance than with nylon or acetate membranes. -The Ø 90mm membrane allows vacuum filtration for 1 litre liquid or more of cell culture media and serum. |
