Cellulose Nitrate Membranes, type 113. Cellulose nitrate provids very uniform pore structures over a wide range of pore sizes. The high non-specific adsorption of this membrane type makes it indispensible for many blotting procedures and for diagnostic kits. These membranes are chemically resistant to aqueous solutions in the pH range 4-8, to hydrocarbons and some other organic solvents. Sterilization by autoclaving (121ºC), gamma radiations (25kGy) or with ethlylene oxide.
