Low adsorption Cellulose Acetate membranes, type 111. For the filtration of aqueous solutions. High flow rates (22ml/mn) and thermal stability (up to 180°C) and very low adsorption rate. 0.2µm pore size: excellent to ste-rilize aqueous solutions, buffers, sera and media. Pore size higher for ultracleaning and particle eliminating. Beyond 1.2µm, membranes are containing glycerine which can be flushed out with water. Stable within the pH range 4-8, and resistant against most alcohols, hydrocarbons and oils. Sterilization by autoclaving (at 121°C or 134°C), with gamma-radiation or ethylene oxide.
