Glass fiber filters. Made of 100% borosilicate glass fibers. They adsorb the finest particles down to 1µm from liquids. In air and gases even aerosols with a particle diameter <1µm are separated, as the electrostatic interaction between the glass fibers and gases is better than between glass fibers and liquids.
- Chemically resistant against most organic and inorganic solvents, acids (except HF) and bases.
- Constant weight.
- Mechanically stable.
- Temperature resistant up to 500ºC.
Upon request:
Quartz fiber filters.
Pure quartz microfibers, without glass fibers and without binders. Quartz is suitable for trace analysis owing to its extremely low metal content. Emission measurements can be carried out up to 1000ºC.
