| Thermoprime Plus DNA Polymerase is a 94kDa ultra-pure recombinant thermostable DNA polymerase obtained by high level expression of the Taq DNA polymerase gene in Escherichia coli. The gene was cloned from a strain of Thermus aquaticus isolated in Iceland and is unique to ABgene®. This enzyme exhibits enhanced thermal stability, with the result that it can be shipped at ambient temperature with no loss of activity. It is licensed and optimised for use in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process. Proven performance in excess of 12kb. Reaction Buffer (10x): Buffer IV: 750mM Tris-HCl (pH8.8 at 25°C), 200mM (NH4)2SO4, 0.1% (v/v) Tween 20®. A vial of 25mM MgCl2 is supplied separately. Store below 0°C, preferably at –20°C, in a constant temperature freezer. |
