The Bacter-test is a new and simple microbiological quality control system for surfaces. The response is rapid, because of a new culture medium. A few micro-organisms taken as samples with a swab on a given surface and incubated for less than 10 hours at 37ºC are enough to change the culture medium studied for this purpose from red to yellow. Changing time 10 hours = disinfected surface.
Set up does not require qualified personnel. Visual reading, no instrument needed. Detachable adhesive stickers ensuring analysis tracability. Storage at room temperature.
Set: 1 sterile swab + 1 plastic test tube containing approx. 3ml of an original culture medium accelerating the growth of the germs sampled. |
