| Micropure-EZ provides an easy and rapid means of removing restriction and other enzymes from double-stranded DNA. The membrane has a high affinity for protein but not for dsDNA. In a single 60-second spin, enzymes from the reaction mix, are selectively adsorbed and DNA is recovered in a vial - undiluted and enzyme-free. For concentrating and desalting sample, Microcon centrifugal filter device can be added. One-step DNA purification, high DNA recovery (>85%). Avoids use of phenol. Volumes: maximum initial sample volume: 250µl, hold-up volume (membrane and support): <5µl. Centrifugal Force: 14’000xg maximum (500xg for Microcon-100). |
