| Kontes mini-bomb. Principle: The sample is enclosed in the chamber which is pressurised using a gas (air, oxygen or argon). The pressure can reach up to 340 bar. Rapid decompression will destroy the cell structures if the gas is released. Gas pressure can be adjusted by selective homogenisation according to the fragility of the cell type. Version: all stainless steel. The chamber has a useful capacity of 1ml to 1.5ml. The sample volume can be doubled using an additional chamber. Unit is autoclavable. Can be heated or cooled.
