| Pipetting is the first cause of musculoskeletal disorders in the laboratory - and the three most important factors are posture, repetition and force. Ovation’s revolutionary design use the principles of ergonomic science. Other specific features: Five of the aspiration and dispensing volumes can be easily programmed directly and recalled for use by pressing a single button. And other volume settings can be selected at precise increments throughout the pipette’s volume range. Adjustable hook for left or right-handed users. A gentle push is all that’s needed to acquire tips - an audible "click" provides positive feedback that the tip is securely sealed onto the pipette. A special filtered nozzle won’t let liquid into the body of the device. A proprietary tip ejection mechanism discards tips at the gentle push of a button. A low-force, form-fitting plunger allows the user to manually control the speed of dispensing and aspiration with minimal effort. In-lab calibration. Ovation is the only pipette that stands securely on the counter. No racks. No risk of contamination. The tip never touches the bench. |
