| A.S.P. 50. Automated Seal Piercer (A.S.P. 50) to pierce seals with 96 or 384 holes simultaneously. Interchangeable pierce pin heads to access 96- or 384-well plates. Custom heads available. Adjustable pierce height. Dive board design provides excellent robotic access. Pierce pins can be washed and dried between applications to prevent carryover contamination. Operated manually via RS232. Plates must be presented at the same height for piercing, thus a suitable carrier will be needed. A range of carriers is available. Suitable for piercing plates sealed with Easy Pierce Strong or Easy Pierce. Piercing rate is 30 seconds per plate with wash cycle or 10 seconds per plate without wash cycle. Air pressure requirements: minimum 80psi (5.5 bar). Air flow requirements: 25 litres/ minute. Weight: 28kg. Dimensions: 325x512x413mm. |
