Milian is inspired by Saint-Exupéry's phrase: "We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. » 

For several years now, Milian (Dutscher Group)  has been committed to an ongoing process designed to address environmental issuesGrouped under the name GoGreen, we have implemented several actions aimed at minimizing our ecological impact.  

Respect for the environment is one of our core concerns, and Milian has integrated sustainable development into its internal and external operations. 

 

Our main commitments:

  • Promote selective sorting and recycle 95% of our waste
  • Reduce our energy consumption
  • Increase the number of ‘green’ products
  • Reduce the carbon impact of our supplies and shipments 
  • Adapt our packaging by optimising parcel dimensions
  • Recover and recycle certain plastic consumables

One Tree At a Time initiative:

As part of our ‘One Tree At a Time’ initiative, we want to encourage our customers to use greener products and reduce CO2 emissions during delivery by planting trees.

To encourage the choice of greener products, we have decided that for every order of CHF 500 (excluding VAT) or more for GoGreen-labelled products, a donation will be made to the non-profit One Tree Planted Project for reforestation.

 

Anticipate and group your orders:

If you place several orders a month, the Milian Green Contract is for you. 
The Milian Green Contract is an agreement by which our customers agree to organise themselves in order to group their orders while increasing their volume of purchases from Milian. When these conditions are met, Milian undertakes to pay them part of the savings made on the cost of transport, even if the shipment was made carriage paid.

 

The Milian Green Contract is a win-win solution:

  • It's good for the environment: reducing the number of consignments reduces the carbon impact of multiple consignments by carrier.
  • The customer is a winner: in addition to an administrative reduction (fewer order forms, fewer invoices), the customer will receive part of the savings made on transport costs linked to its business with Milian.
  • Milian wins: Milian also benefits from a reduction in its transport, administrative and logistics costs.
