With a vacuum manifold or centrifuge, high-density cell cultures can be processed rapidly, resulting in the capture of cells, cell debris and other biological aggregates in the filter media. The filtrate collected by the 24-well collection plate contains proteins and other particles smaller than 0.2 µm.
